The thing that kinda got me with these scene was that on his way there, Akira was angry at Ryo for some reason and he was fuming about it while driving to go see him. Then, as soon as he sees him again, he still greets him like this. Like those guys are best friends, even if there’s shit going down they still hug and stuff
